Spacer for Small Ejector Pins

These spacers are sized to bring the thicness of the head of an ejector pin  to 1/4". Larger ejector pins, size G and above typically have a head thickness of 1/4". Smaller ejector pins have head thicnesses that decrease with the size of the pin. With the conventional pin installation method, the ejector pin head is counterbored into the pin retainer plate (or alternatively the ejector plate) so that the ejector plate and pin retainer plate clamp together and touch one another. The counterbore depth can be adjusted to match the head thicness so that each pin head is held with very little play. This requires the ability to accurately counterbore to a specific depth. We provide a simpler option of just adding spacers to the ejector pins so that they all have the same 1/4" head thicness and can easily be sandwiched between the ejector plate and pin retainer plate without counterboring.
