Ametek (Gemco) linear displacement transducers provide a rugged and cost effective means of measuring the position of hydraulic cylinders, gates, and other automated equipment.

The 953 VMAX series is a stainless steel rod-style LDT with excellent shock and vibration resistance. It is perfect for harsh environments, and can be mounted directly in hydraulic cylinders that have a provision for a linear displacement transducer. The Gemco 953 series can be ordered as a drop-in replacement for certain MTS and Balluff transducers.

The 955 "BRIK" series comes in an extruded aluminum style package that is cost effective and offers flexible mounting options.
