DC-EC endcaps are used to protect and electrically insulate cable, pipe, and conduit ends from exterior or environmental effects. Suitable for pressurized and unpressurized cables. Made from thermally stabilized, cross-linked polyolefin and coated with a polyamide-based hot-melt adhesive. When heated to the shrink temperature of 130°C, this endcap will shrink to 1/2 of its original diameter. The thermoplastic adhesive liner provides complete environmental protection and insulation. Available with adhesive applied flat or in spiral.
