Ametek B/W Controls 1500 Series Induction Relay

B/W 1500 series relays provide versatile and reliable liquid level control without the use of floats. Depending on the contact configuration, they can be used for pump-up (fill) control, pump down control, high level, and low level detection. Liquid levels are established by mounting or suspending electrodes in the tank or vessel. Our customers report that when properly installed and maintained, these relays often provide 20+ years of service. 

Common applications include:

• Pump-up (fill) control for elevated tanks
• Make-up water control for boiler systems
• Pump-down control for sewage and sump pumps
• High and low level alarms
• High and low level cutoff

B/W 1500 series control relays can only be used to sense conductive liquids. They are not suitable for oil, gasoline, animal fats, and other similar materials, and should not be used with flammable liquids. Electrodes are sold separately.
